The Holy Quran tells us the purpose of one’s life. That this life is given to us to make our life the best to gain paradise hereafter. In the Quran, it has been highlighted that believers who’d be righteous and follow the teachings of the Quran would be rewarded with Paradise for their good deeds and faith. In contrast, non-believers and the ones who are sinful would be guaranteed hellfire.
The Quran teaches the Oneness of ALLAH. The Quran tells us that there is no GOD except ALLAH. What happened in a Muslim’s life when he believe in the oneness of ALLAH. ALLAH Almighty himself told us in Quran How important is for Muslims.
“And this is a Book which We have revealed as a blessing: so follow it and be righteous, that ye may receive mercy.”(al-Anam, 6/155).
“The Qur’an as a guide to mankind also clear (Signs) for guidance and judgment (between right and wrong)…”(al-Baqara, 2/185).
* “The Quran is guidance and glad tidings for those who believe.”(al-Baqara, 2/97).
Prophet Muhammad (SAW) explained the characteristics of the Quran as follows:
‘It contains all information about what has happened to those communities before you, news of dissensions and tumults that will happen after you, and signs of Doomsday. It is the distinguisher between truth and falsehood. If anyone seeks guidance elsewhere Allah will lead him astray. It is the strong rope of Allah. It is the reminder of wisdom, and it is the straightest path. It protects souls who obey it from being ruined and misguidance and tongues that recite it from ambiguity.
The Qur’an is the Word of Allah. It instils respect for and fear of Allah. It instructs on the proper way to worship Allah. Love and reverence are instilled for the Prophet (SAW), to whom the Qur’an was revealed. It tells tales about prophets and various cultures. It teaches about the creation of humans and other animals. It is a source of education and learning. It is the foundation of Islamic law. It promotes spiritual growth and serves as a source of spiritual fulfilment. Reading or reciting the Qur’an inspires confidence, contentment, and hope. An enduring miracle, that reading or reciting the Qur’an is rewarded for Muslims. In essence, it includes every aspect of human life.
